Our mission
One life, held together
Master Within is a mission for the total wellbeing and harmonious growth of individuals, families and society.
What we believe
Health, mind, character, relationships, work, family, society, nature and spiritual realisation belong to one whole. Many of our difficulties have roots we rarely look at. We look for those roots, with the life and teachings of Thakur Anukulchandra as our guide.
We do not treat the spiritual and the practical as two worlds. Clarity, character, relationships and service are real entry points to what is, for us, the deeper aim: to know God and one’s own true nature, and to let that knowing show in an ordinary life, well lived.
The Living Ideal
We learn how to live from people more than from rules. Thakur is, for us, the Living Ideal: a real person whose way of living we study as an example. Following him means studying his conduct and words and letting them shape our own character, relationships and work. It is not imitation, and it does not erase who you are.
What we do
We share teachings in writing, and in video as each is made, each starting from a real question and ending with something to reflect on or try. We read Thakur’s words together in a weekly class. We are building a small daily-practice app. Everything here is free to explore.
When we quote Thakur, we give the exact passage, and the work, edition and page wherever it has been checked against print; where it has not yet, we say so. Our own explanations are marked as ours.
Who is presenting this
Souvik Ghosh
Souvik brings Master Within together through teaching, writing and conversation. Alongside this work, he pursues research in superconducting quantum hardware.
He is not a monk or a priest. He is a researcher who found in Thakur’s teaching a way of holding science, work and devotion in one life, and who teaches in order to share that.
Master Within is the platform; Thakur is the source; Souvik is the teacher and communicator. The work is meant to be bigger than any one person.
Science and spirit
Master Within’s sister initiative, Vishwa Vigyan, is a research and education effort. The two share one conviction: inquiry and devotion belong together. Neither borrows the other’s authority; a scientific credential does not prove a spiritual claim, and a spiritual insight is not a laboratory result.
What you can do next
You don’t need to belong to any group or organisation to explore. Questions are welcome. Write to us.
